First Impressions

First Impressions

Business owners, have you taken a good look at your signage lately?  I mean, a really good look?  If you're like me, things that you see every day start to blend into the background.

I can pass the same stack of mail and kids' homework papers that need to be sorted all weekend, and by Monday morning realize that some necessary permissions slips didn't get signed, even though I left them right our for me to see and remind myself to do so.  Whoops.  That stack of paper, even though it was out in the open, can just kind of disappear as I am busy going about my life.  It becomes part of the background.

As I was walking through my neighborhood the other day, I passed an apartment complex that had an A-frame sidewalk sign out front, advertising that they offered "luxury living".  But the sign itself suggested otherwise.  The lettering was peeling up and the colors were faded.  The sign had definitely seen better days.  And while I was not a prospective tenant, it made me think that if I WERE in the market for a "luxury" apartment, the appearance of that sign would make me think twice about stopping there to take a look.  If they don't care about their sign, what would make me believe they care about maintaining the quality of their property?

First impressions are important.  A potential customer often times has their first exposure to your business by way of you signage, be in on your window lettering, car decals, sidewalk signs, or banners.  If your sign doesn't look like it's in good condition, your potential customers might question whether or not your services or goods will be of the quality which they're looking.  And it just might lead them to look elsewhere.

Take a good hard look at your signs today.  See what your customers will see, not just the usual lettering and colors that might have blended into your background,  And if you find that your signs can use some updating, call us a Arrowhead Signs or visit our online shop at http://www.arrowheadsigncompany.com, and see what we can do for your business.  Our family-owned shop offers beautiful color graphics, quality workmanship, and years of experience.  If you imagine it, we can produce it.

We'd love to help you make a great first impression.
